TAA multi-bed acupuncture clinics
Our multibed clinics and practitioners
Multibed clinics are an excellent way of accessing professional acupuncture treatment at a proportion of the cost of private practice, and at TAA we run clinics three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), and are pleased to say that we also now have a five element multibed based in London, the Community Acupuncture London Multibed, or CALM (see what we did there!). Our clinics are listed below, along with links that you can use to contact the practitioners and book an appointment, with a note that as we are a teaching institution, while all practitioners are graduates, members of the British Acupuncture Council, and fully insured, you may well get to meet some student observers (this is optional though). For anyone who can't get to our in-house or London clinic, check out ACMAC (Association of Community Multibed Acupuncture Clinics) to see if there is one near where you live.
If you would prefer one-to-one treatment however, you can contact:

Heather Adams - 07929 260039
Juanita Bolster - juanita@taa-uk.net
Lucy Inman - 07977 091032
Tina Romer - 07498 003970
Celia Tudor-Evans - 07815 714088
Michelle Venter - 07795 271340
And finally, student practitioners in third year are always looking for patients, and they will receive excellent one-to-one care, fully supervised, at an extremely reduced cost. They are based all over the UK as well as locally, so if you would like to know if there is someone in your area, please get in touch through the Contact Us button
TAA's multibed clinics
Wednesdays from 9 until 8, with Heather - The Acupuncture Community Clinic was established in 2011, and Heather Adams joined in 2021 after successfully graduating from The Acupuncture Academy in 2016.   Heather now runs the clinic, which offers acupuncture at an affordable rate for everyone.   Treatments are tailored to the unique needs of each patient, and each patient will receive the same attentive Five Element treatment, but at about half the cost. Treatments are charged at £25 a session, with cosmetic acupuncture costing £35, and we kindly ask for 24 hours notice if you are not going to be able to make an appointment, in order to avoid a cancellation fee. The clinic runs on Wednesdays only, from 9am to 8pm, so for more information, or to speak to Heather, please click on the button above.
Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 until 8pm - Michelle and Nicole are graduates of TAA, and set up The Wellbeing Clinic after undertaking a very successful acupuncture study at The Acupuncture Academy, funded by the British Acupuncture Council. This study looked at the effectiveness of acupuncture for students with mental health and wellbeing issues, and the paper is available on our main research page. The clinics run on a Tuesday and a Friday, and individual treatments in the multibed are currently £25. They ask for 24 hours notice if you cannot attend, in order to free up the appointment for someone else, and to avoid a cancellation fee. Friday 9 to 5 in Westminster - Guy has been a tutor at The Acupuncture Academy since the beginning but lives and works as an Acupuncturist in London. He set up the Community Acupuncture London Multibed (CALM) clinic in London in 2023 with graduates from The Acupuncture Academy to offer affordable five element acupuncture in London. We are very lucky to have the use of the Polyclinic at The University of Westminster, New Cavendish Street, W1W, so we are very central. We have seven lovely graduates working at the Clinic and Guy offers support and supervision to the graduates seeing patients. You will always see the same practitioner, as this is an important aspect of five element treatment and your treatment will be as unique as you are. However, if your practitioner is away you will be given the option of seeing another practitioner at the clinic. The clinic operates every Friday from 9am till 5pm and we are an appointment only clinic, but it is very easy to book yourself in for an appointment. The first consultation and treatment for one-hour costs £50 and follow-up appointments are 45 minutes and cost £40 As with all clinic appointments it is important to give us 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend, to avoid paying a fee for the missed appointment and allows another patient to take your slot to have a treatment. For more information about the clinic please click on the button above, to visit our website!
Tuesdays from 2pm until 8pm - Tina is a TAA graduate and a full member of the British Acupuncture Council offering safe, effective, gentle and holistic acupuncture treatments. As a Classical Five Element acupuncturist she offers an individualised approach to support you on your health, wellbeing and healing journey. Treatments cover a range of symptoms from pain, musculoskeletal, gynaecological, respiratory, digestive, mental and emotional health to overall wellbeing among others. The community clinic setting offers an option for affordable acupuncture treatment at £35 for the initial consultation and treatment and £25 per treatment thereafter. Appointments need to be booked, and all appointments require 24-hours’ notice if you are unable to attend, to avoid paying a cancellation fee and to free up the slot for someone else.
