A brief overview of the Course and Qualification

Our acupuncture course is a fully accredited, degree level Licentiate.  This is the industry standard qualification, and allows you to join the British Acupuncture Council - the largest professional body for acupuncturists in the UK.

You will start treating your own patients (with our support and guidance!) in your third year, which means that you will have a fully fledged practice ready for you as soon as you graduate.  Swipe through these slides to find out more about what you can expect across the three years, and download our prospectus for more detail, as well as more about what to expect once you have graduated.

We have uploaded a sample schedule on this page so you can see what studying at TAA will be like across your first year - the schedule includes practical weekends, new e-lesson releases as well as the assignments and assessments you will be doing. (Please note this is not exactly what your schedule will look like but should give you a good idea as to what is involved)
